Instructor: Cecelia Weaver Fee: $20
Class Description: Cross-stitch is the oldest form of hand embroidery dating back to the Middle Ages and is found all over the world. It is completed on a canvas type fabric, like Aida cloth or linen, in which the strands can be counted to form pictures and words with floss. The beginning project for this class is a cute scissor holder and fob from Hands on Design. It can be stitched on a 14 count aida or 28 count cashel linen and only 4 floss colors are needed to complete the design. The pattern also has complete instructions for completing the scissor holder and scissor fob. Come join Cecelia in learning cross-stitch techniques and working on this great project. Beginners welcome!
